It is inevitable that when you are pregnant you are going to gain weight. It is going to happen to every women and it can be frustrating too.  There are so many ways to stay healthy and keep motivated to stay fit at the same time.  Many times women will begin to feel bad about them because they are gaining so much weight with the pregnancy.

Even if you are overweight, you will need to gain weight in order for your baby to be delivered with no problems. You will find that the average woman will need to gain at least 20-35 pounds each pregnancy or 20 lbs per child. The weight gain is not all in fat. You have to realize that you have to give the baby protection by gaining some fat, but you will also need to gain the weight in order to tell if the baby is growing properly and if your body is adapting to the pregnancy in the proper manner.

As for why you will need to gain the weight, you have to consider that this is all for your baby.
